Power tools go cordless

As the US power tools market shifts away from gas powered tools to cordless battery-powered options, The Home Depot set out to become the destination for cordless power. Utilizing THD’s newly acquired 17-acre production house in North Carolina, our team conducted a photo and video shoot to capture assets for use across THD’s paid media ad placements. We captured content for each of four brand leaders in the cordless space; Milwaukee, Makita, Ryobi, Rigid, and DeWalt.

This was a social-first production, meaning we shot with vertical aspect ratios as the priority, and captured content in 9:16, 16:9, 1x1, and 4:5 formats.

The photography production encompassed three unique content areas; a shadow shoot of the video production, lifestyle product shots in a garage setting, and stylized product shots on brand-color backgrounds.
